Human Harp
The Human Harp is the brainchild of artist Di Mainstone. The project aims to turn bridges into musical instruments using an augmented electronic physical interface that allows a dancer to “play” the bridge. Drawing on an international collaboration of artists, engineers, dancers and technologists, the Human Harp has visited many bridges including Brooklyn Bridge in New York, Bristol’s Clifton Suspension Bridge and Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge in Omaha, Nebraska.
